Part of my artmaking process is to understand how other cultures, specifically agrarian ones, relate to nature. In our Western culture we are extremely involved in technology, commercialism and mass media. I find it very important for me to see how others live when elements of commercialism are not as present. These pictures are from my travels from over a decade of traveling. Some are used in bits and pieces with my work but for the most part these are just a record. I am committed to continue having travel always be an important part of my research.
